“Lucky” and “Sassy”
Meet the two newest additions to our home. These two sweet little kitties were found abandoned by their momma in our Activity Director’s basement. They were weak and very malnourished and less than a week old. Hollie and her niece bottle fed them for several days. Hollie would bring them to work with her and staff would help feed them too. Luckily one of our housekeepers took the baby kitties to her dads home to see if their momma cat that just had a litter of kitties would accept them as her own and she did. We kept up with them while they were gone and now they are back Home where the residents decided they were going to live.
The residents met and decided on what their names should be. Anna Ray Combs suggested we name the white kitty “Lucky” because she is lucky to be alive. Jackie Harlan suggested we name the grey kitty “Sassy” because he is so active. Other names were mentioned but everyone agreed that these names suited them perfectly.
